Today stock market continued its upward trajectory for the sixth consecutive session, bolstered by foreign portfolio investments and bargain hunting. The Nifty 50 index rose by 1.32% to close at 23,658.35, while the BSE Sensex increased by 1.4%, settling at 77,984.38.

Kotak Mahindra Bank: Shares surged by 4.67%, closing at ₹2,176.15.
NTPC Ltd.: The stock climbed 4.61%, ending at ₹367.35.
State Bank of India (SBI): Shares rose by 3.77%, closing at ₹781.40.
